“In June 1972, my parents bought a cabin in Big Bear City. To this day it’s still in our family.
When my wife and I decided to upgrade and remodel this past year or so, we came across a gentleman working on the cabin next to ours.
His name is Bill Huckaby, owner of Huckaby Construction. Bill came over and we talked about all the plans of what we wanted. He listened to what we had in mind, and added his own great ideas and suggestions.
We hired him on the spot! So glad we did, because you couldn’t ask for a nicer, more reliable, honest, hardworking man. Winter months and snow did not slow Bill down. He always kept us up on what was going on with permits, etc., and send us pictures of item that he thought would be good.
We do not live in Big Bear, so when we came up for the weekends, he was always willing to meet us at the cabin, to make sure we were happy with how things were going. We could call him anytime and ask him to please do this or that, and he would do it.
Since Bill did great work on the inside, we had him do a lot of adding on and remodeling on the outside. Our cabin looks amazing!!! If you want a nice, honest, hardworking man, then Bill Huckaby is your man!
